Spreadshirt announced in their blog yesterday that Hemp t-shirts were added to the Spreadshirt product lineup. The hemp t-shirts are 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton. The shirt is made by Hemp Traders who claims to be the world’s largest supplier of hemp products. Hemp Traders currently stocks hemp baby dolls, hoodys, tank tops, v-necks and long sleeved t-shirts but Spreadshirt is probably just testing the waters with the basic hemp t-shirt.
I went to go buy a hemp t-shirt from Spreadshirt and I chose the black men’s shirt and I added a design on the shirt and went to go checkout and I was informed they didn’t have any men’s large t-shirts. In black there was only s, m, xl, xxl. Since when is large an awkward size?? I checked the natural color hemp shirt and they did have a large, small and XXL (um no medium or XL). It is concerning that a company would go and broadcast that they get a new product have no standard sizes in stock. As much as I would love one of the black hemp t-shirts I am not prepared to go on a diet or fatten up just so I can buy one.
