Since tomorrow is the first of October which is Breast Cancer Awareness month it is fitting to feature Zazzle’s fund raising for Breast Cancer Awareness (on its newly highlighted on their redesigned site). We briefly discussed a while back how companies like Zazzle, Spreadshirt, Cafepress have various ways of donating profits or providing tools to raise money for non-profits or special causes (See our post on the Cafepress’ Breast Cancer Donation Shop and Spreadshirt’s Awareness month).
A few days ago, Zazzle began highlighting their Breast Cancer Awareness stamps and t-shirts on their homepage with a link to a Pink Ribbon gallery. Twenty percent of the net product sale in the Pink Ribbon Gallery will be donated by Zazzle to the Susan G. Komen foundation. The Susan G. Komen foundation is a member of the Zazzle Community Giving program (see our previous discussion of Zazzle Community Giving Program).
The selection is relatively limited (about 10 designs) and are pink ribbon centered and generally lack breast cancer slogans that are more prevalent on other sites. But hey, its a start and should be enough to raise some money for Breast Cancer Awareness which is a good thing.
